Eddie Sidenstricker
M&A Advisor
Selling a practice or acquiring another one is one of the biggest decisions a business owner makes. Eddie understands this better than most, he's been on both sides of the table, as a founder, operator, buyer, and seller. That perspective shapes how he guides clients through transitions today.
Before joining JW Advisory, Eddie led business development at a private equity firm and drove M&A strategy at a top DSO. He also co-founded and exited a venture-backed company, giving him firsthand experience with the pressures and decisions founders face when considering a transition. Through those experiences, he learned where value is truly won or lost—and where most sellers leave money on the table without professional guidance.
Eddie bleeds Carolina Blue (UNC c/o '06), but relocated to Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and two kids, in 2021. When he's not working deals, he's chauffeuring kids to practice or playing a round of golf—he carries a single-digit handicap and is always willing to travel with his clubs to visit a client.
He prides himself on relationships, trust and communication. He believes that when taking outside capital, finding the right partner goes far beyond multiples and EBITDA, it's the culture, team and legacy you've built and want to continue on in the future.
